OpenMic.us has been, and still is, a major part of my musical journey.
I started playing the open mic circuit over 3 years ago. During that time, I have met some great musicians and formed long lasting friendships.
About a year ago, I found a musical partner at one of the open mics. It started with me singing harmony on a cover song he would perform from time to time. We started talking and now, Jared and I have formed a duo, The Akustik Arkitex. We are now playing paying gigs around the area.
